William H.
Tucker
President and CEO
Bill Tucker is the President and CEO of the Company and has been an executive in the
telephone industry for more than twenty years. He has been involved in the
successful start up and growth of a number of businesses during that time. In
his role at Atagra, Bill has primary responsibility for overall growth and
management of the company.
Most recently, he founded American Broadband Communications, an acquirer of
rural local exchange carriers. Founded in 2001, American Broadband has
successfully acquired 21 operating companies in 13 states.
Prior to American Broadband, he was a founding principal and Chief Executive
Officer of CCG Consulting, Inc., a nationwide telecommunications consulting firm
specializing in strategic and tactical assistance to rural local exchange
carriers, municipalities and others trying to navigate the complex
telecommunications landscape. Bill was responsible for the overall growth and
management of CCG. These responsibilities included assisting in mergers and
acquisitions for transactions ranging from $1 million to $300 million.
Prior to CCG, Bill spent nine years at Frontier Corp., holding a variety
of positions, including Director of Business Development. Bill also has a
regulatory and finance background within the telecommunications industry.
He has also been involved in the growth and development of other successful
companies. Saebo, a manufacturer of innovative rehabilitation products for
individuals suffering from neurological injuries such as stroke, and Riverfront
Custom Design, a custom woodwork and manufacturing company are two firms in
which Bill has played key financial and strategic roles.
Bill received a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the University
of Notre Dame and holds a Masters of Business Administration Degree from State
University of New York at Buffalo.
